The three committees that provide guidance to CREDA’s Center for Education are the CREDA Conference Planning Committee, I.CON Planning Committee and the Education Committee. All committee appointments are for one-year terms with the potential for extension upon mutual agreement by both parties. All committee members are highly encouraged to serve for at least two years to ensure consistency in programming.

CREDA Conference CONFERENCE PLANNING COMMITTEE

The CREDA Conference Committee, along with CREDA staff, develops content and programming for CREDA Conference. Committee members identify priority topics and suggest potential speakers, crafting the educational and networking components of this event. This committee meets virtually 6-7 times between January and September of each year for committee meetings and session planning calls. Each committee member is expected to attend CREDA Conference; complimentary registration is provided by CREDA.

I.CON CONFERENCE PLANNING COMMITTEE

The I.CON Committee, along with CREDA staff, develops content and programming for the I.CON events – both I.CON West and I.CON East. Committee members identify priority topics and suggest potential speakers, crafting the educational and networking components of these events. This committee meets virtually 6-8 times between August/September and March for committee meetings and session planning calls. Each committee member is expected to attend one of the I.CON events; complimentary registration is provided by CREDA.

EDUCATION

The Education Committee provides input and guidance for CREDA staff on a number of educational initiatives that fall under CREDA’s Center for Education. Committee members periodically review CREDA’s on-demand course catalog and certificate programs and help identify specific topics and appropriate subject matter experts for course development. This committee meetings virtually at least once per year and helps to ensure CREDA educational material and products are timely, highly relevant and of exceptional quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Appointments to all education and event planning committees are made based on depth of industry knowledge and experience.
