Visionaries Program

As part of our commitment to engage and develop future industry leaders, the Visionaries program was developed by the CREDA Research Foundation to provide a variety of meaningful mentoring, high-level networking and research related experiences to rising industry leaders who are 40 years of age and under.

Meet Our Research Foundation Visionaries

Participants have an unparalleled opportunity to learn from and network with senior professionals and Foundation Governors and to gain valuable career development and industry insights. Visionaries also play an important role in the Foundation’s research development process by sharing their perspectives and expertise.

Visionaries Program Information

Benefits

  • Exclusive meetings with Research Foundation Governors throughout the program period.
  • Mentoring opportunities with specific Governors.
  • Attendance at exclusive Industry Trends meetings.
  • Networking receptions and dinners with the Governors.
  • Annual program contributions counted toward a Research Foundation Governorship.
  • Recognition at annual CREDA events and in Foundation materials.
  • Listing in the CREDA Research Foundation’s annual report and on its website.
  • Recognition of appointment to the Visionaries in CREDA’s weekly e-newsletter to all members.

Cost and Structure

  • Each Visionary serves a four-year term.
  • $2,000 contribution per year during four-year term ($8,000 total).
  • Number of participants is capped at 12.

Selection Criteria

  • Must be a CREDA member.
  • Must be 40 years of age or under at the time of appointment.
  • Must have seven or more years of commercial real estate experience.
  • Visionaries are selected based on professional competency and level of responsibility; career goals; engagement in CREDA volunteer activities at the national and chapter level; engagement in CREDA Forums; and community involvement.

 

How to Apply

  • Applications are on a two-year cycle.
  • Access the Visionaries Program application online. Applications open October 15, 2026.
  • Applications will be evaluated by members of the Governors program and CREDA senior staff.

Becoming a Governor

  • For participants who wish to become a Research Foundation Governor, any payments made during their four-year term will be counted toward the Governor pledge of $30,000. (Visionaries are encouraged to pledge within three years of completing their four-year term; however, this is not mandatory.)
  • Visionaries are not obligated to pledge to become a Research Foundation Governor either at the beginning or end of their four-year term.
