Mark Taylor is managing director, Residential, at AREP, where he leads residential investment, development and operations strategy, drawing on more than 35 years of experience across rental, mixed-use, condominium, townhouse and community-focused assets. Since joining AREP in 2016, he has helped advance value-add and opportunistic residential strategies in emerging markets, with deep experience partnering with institutional and private equity investors. Previously, Taylor served as operating partner at Jair Lynch Development Partners, where he helped build an institutional-grade platform and deploy more than $100 million in equity capital, and founded The Bozzuto Group’s urban-focused Washington, D.C., practice. He holds degrees in engineering and business from the University of Colorado and the University of Denver and has been active across a broad set of industry and nonprofit organizations, including ULI, NAREIM, Lambda Alpha International, HomeAid DC, and the Maryland Governor’s Green Building Task Force. Taylor was recently recognized by the Washington Business Journal in its 2026 Real Estate Dealmakers’ Awards.
