Leo Addimando is the cofounder and CEO of Alterra Property Group and Alterra IOS, where he oversees the firm’s overall strategy, operations and investment platform. With more than 20 years of experience in real estate, he has led over $5 billion in acquisitions across 40+ U.S. states, including approximately 480 industrial transactions.
Originally focused on multifamily and mixed-use development, Alterra expanded into industrial outdoor storage (IOS) in 2016 after identifying the sector’s long-term potential. Under his leadership, the firm has become a leading institutional player in IOS, recognized for its scale, data-driven investment approach and ability to execute quickly in a historically fragmented market.
