Julie Cleaver brings nearly 40 years of experience in land development, most recently serving as senior vice president of strategic planning for The Howard Hughes Corporation. In that role, she directed current and long-range planning for more than 10,000 acres of residential and commercial development and amenity infrastructure in Summerlin, a 22,500-acre master-planned community on the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley. In collaboration with architects, planners, engineers, brand consultants and municipal partners, she helped develop innovative, sustainable planning solutions that created memorable experiences and added value through design. Earlier in her career, she managed design teams for award-winning master-planned communities nationwide at The Rouse Company, HNTB and David Jensen Associates. Beyond her professional roles, Cleaver contributes to the industry through board service, editorial leadership, and public speaking. She serves on the national board of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (CREDA) and on local advisory boards, and she chairs the Editorial Board of Development Magazine.
