Dan Campbell is a vice president of transactions at UDR, Inc., where he leads the sourcing, underwriting, structuring and execution of multifamily real estate acquisitions and structured finance investments across the United States. Since joining the firm in 2011, he has played an integral role in shaping UDR’s growth strategy through disciplined capital deployment, market selection, and partnership-driven investment strategies. His work spans acquisitions, preferred equity and dispositions nationwide.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Campbell is an active industry leader and mentor. He served as the 2025 Chair of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) Emerging Leaders Committee, representing rising executives from top multifamily firms nationwide. He is also committed to mentorship, volunteerism, and guest lecturing to support the next generation of real estate professionals. Campbell holds an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis, where he was a Division I soccer scholar-athlete.
