Chris Payne joined Prime West in 2026 to expand the company's office acquisition platform, focusing on strategic investments where aligned capital, operational execution and market insight create durable long-term value. Payne is responsible for identifying fundamentally strong assets at inflection points, including targeted value-add and undercapitalized opportunities, and executing business plans designed to enhance quality, performance and positioning. His 15+ years of experience span the full lifecycle of more than $$2 billion of office, multifamily, hospitality and mixed-use developments across Chicago and Denver, with a track record of disciplined execution, collaborative partnerships and community building. Payne earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
